What others say about TowardYoga

“Sarah is a very professional teacher who is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in her work as well as being calm and patient. She comes round individually to each person to make sure their body is doing what it should and is in the right position. Even if you have an injury or back problem, Sarah will always know another position you could do to avoid any injury or pain – this is a rarity in a class environment and is more like a one to one. Such a pleasure and joy to be in her class and so glad I found her” (Tamasine)

Toward Yoga Icon

“I have been doing yoga for 4 years now and have found after going to various other instructors that Sarah really does care about what she does and the students she teaches. She is brilliant! I have found that it helps hugely with my core strength and it has made me much more flexible over the years, it has also helped me to learn how to relax more.  I can honestly say I could not do without it. Thanks Sarah keep up the good work.” (Paul)

Toward Yoga Icon

Sarah is an expert yoga teacher and also has a tremendous ability to motivate her students. She works plenty of one-to-one attention into classes, and fine-tunes the practice to fit every student’s ability. She gets to know everybody’s quirks and injuries and finds ways around them. There is lots of physical effort, as well as concentration and laughs. Every class leaves you with tired muscles and a clear mind. I started yoga in the hope of dealing with a lower back problem – Sarah’s classes gave me control over that, and much more.”  (Nathan)

Sarah’s classes are transformative, invigorating and passionate. Prepare yourself to be inspired! You truly inspired me and the practice awakened me fully!! Thanks so much, Sarah!” (Anna)

Toward Yoga Icon

“After a very scary emergency doctor’s appointment regarding very high blood pressure, my GP recommended I find a yoga class – and I am SO glad I found Sarah! She is a brilliant teacher. I had a very outdated image in my head of yoga classes being rather serious places and very intimidating for newcomers, but Sarah’s classes are totally not like this. Sarah is very kind, caring and patient, the classes are friendly and chatty, and there’s a real camaraderie” (Helen)

Toward Yoga Icon

“Sarah is an inspiring teacher who has an extensive knowledge of yoga which she can quickly draw upon to perfectly tailor the lessons for the pupil, her classes leave me refreshed, stronger and happier!” (Lisa)

Toward Yoga Icon

Sarah was my first yoga teacher and I can still remember my first class with her. I took to Sarah’s teaching style and Iyengar yoga immediately, soon I was attending classes regularly at Sarah’s teaching space. I found Sarah to be an excellent teacher; her classes were obviously well-planned, structured, varied, professional and always delivered with plenty of 1:1 adjustments. I’ll never forget the calm and peace I felt after each class. I believe those first years of yoga teaching were the best I had.” (Oliver)
